AU-IBT was founded in 1995 as a result of a merger between The Engineering College of Western Jutland and The Central Jutland Business School. In 2006 another merger – this time with University of Aarhus (Denmarks second largest university) resulted in even higher academic level and an increased focus and research and development.
AU-IBT has a truly international study environment. The campus is located near the school and students can use AU-IBTs facilities and computers around the clock.
AU-IBT offers full-time courses leading to the following degrees in English: BSc in Global Management and Manufacturing BA in International Communication and Multimedia BSc in International Management BSc in Electonic Desing Engineer MSc in Technology Based Business Development
The requirement for admission for the bachelor programmes is an upper secondary school leaving certificate plus specific terms of admission depending on the particular study programme. The bookshop at AU-IBT sells the books and other educational material needed for both students and teachers. The bookshop also has a varied selection of stationary books. The library at AU-IBT is open to the public, but its primary purpose is to serve students and teaching staff at AU-IBT. The library of course also offers access to the Internet.
FEES and FINANCES The study programmes are free of charge for European students. Each year, AU-IBT offers a number of scholarships for full-time international (non-EU) degree students (fee-paying students) to help them cover part of their tuition fees.

AU-IBT is the only university college in Denmark offering degree courses in engineering, business economics and business languages at the same institution. AU-IBT's study programs are based on interaction across professional boundaries as well as close interaction with students and the surrounding business community. Furthermore all of the study programs have an innovative and international perspective.
AU-IBT has approximately 1,600 students, about one half is full-time
the other part time and around 100 full time employees including
technical and administrative staff.
You might opt to live at Birk College (Students' Village), only a few minutes' walk from TEKO or AU-IBT. Birk College consists of about 250 quality-flats of various sizes and at different prices for young people.
