The Higher School of Insurance and Finance (VUZF)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria Website: http://www.vuzf.bg/ The Higher School of Insurance and Finance (VUZF) is the first private higher establishment in Bulgaria specialized in the area of insurance and finance. The School was founded in 2002 and in the academic year 2004/2005 the admittance reached the optimal amount of the Higher School, which enables implementation of the main goal of VUZF – to hold out elite teaching in small studying groups, with opportunity for personal paying attention to each student. From the academic 2006/2007 year the Higher School of Insurance and Finance opened doors of its new building, which disposes of modern equipped academic halls, library and sports base. The dual degree program in BA Finance as offered by the VUZF together with the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) follows the BA Finance curriculum of UMUC. It includes 40 courses to be taken for 8 semesters. Upon successful graduation, students shall get two diplomas – one from VUZF, recognized in EU and one from UMUC, recognized worldwide. Furthermore, VUZF offers a great opportunity for building up strong relationships and networking within the student body while providing for a luxury hotel class housing on its premises!
