The location is unique - just a stone's throw from royal palaces and gardens, the Cathedral, the Danish Parliament and the Royal Exchange. And just a few minutes' walk from Scandinavias best connected train and Metro station, Norreport. Winding corridors, narrow stairways, sloping walls and the green courtyard, just by the famous Round Tower, testify to the College's history, dating back more than 100 years. The teaching in SUHR'S is based on ethical values and reputable scientific research; a comparative and intercultural approach; and small classes and personal tutoring. Some of the teaching methods used are team work, seminars, projects, lectures, case studies, field visits, practical trainings in companies and organisations. SUHR's Global Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Health is a 3 1/2 year higher education, BA degree with two specialisations: Public Health Nutrition and Food Policy; or Lifestyle Coaching and Fitness Management. Teaching is in English, with focus  on global challenges and geared towards the international labour market. The programme illustrates what types of initiatives and skills SUHR'S believes will be crucial in the future for promoting a healthy lifestyle. ACCOMMODATION: Suhr´s University College has no residential facilities at the moment, and foreign students have to make their own arrangements as regards board and lodging. Since it is extremely difficult to find accommodation in Copenhagen, foreign students are strongly advised to make their own arrangements concerning accommodation before leaving for Denmark. SUHR'S will help students from abroad to find accommodation, in studentrs residences or with families.
