Bellarmine University is an independent, liberal arts university, founded in 1950. In 1968, Bellarmine merged with Ursuline College and became an independent university governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Trustees. Bellarmine continues in the Catholic tradition, the oldest continuing tradition of higher education in the history of the western world.

COURSES
Bellarmine offers more than 50 majors in the arts and sciences, business, education, nursing and health sciences. As a Bellarmine student, your education doesn’t begin and end in the classroom. There are plenty of opportunities to become involved on campus. You can make friends, discover talents, develop leadership skills, provide community service and share in creating memories that will last a lifetime by participating in one or more out of 70+ clubs and organizations. Plus, events such as concerts, lectures, drama productions, and athletic contests are always happening on campus.
College life at Bellarmine is different because of the location. It is tucked away in the beautiful and safe Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, but that means it is also within walking distance of the vibrant life of the Bardstown Road corridor. Coffee houses, restaurants, one-of-a-kind shops, and more add to the overall Bellarmine experience. Plus, downtown Louisville is just minutes away and offers world-class theater and arts, professional sporting events, and the extreme sports park.
FEES AND FINANCES
Tuition fees:
BA courses: $13,900/Semester + study materials, accommodation etc.
Bellarmine awards more than $9 million in institutional scholarships and grants to freshmen. In fact, 100% of their freshmen receive one of these awards. More information abour Bellarmines Financial Aid.
Every international student will be automatically considered, based upon their secondary grade reports and test scores, for Bellarmine's Ambassador's Scholarship (up to $5000/year) by completing their application. Additionally, every international student will have the option of performing "work-study" at the rate of $2500/year. This means they work on campus and earn a wage. Many of the international students use this for pocket money.

ACCOMMODATION
As part of Bellarmine's mission to serve the whole self-the mind, the body, the heart and the spirit–residence life becomes a large part of our offering. In addition to kitchen facilities, recreational facilities, TV lounges, and study lounges, their seven residence halls offer 24/7 online access.
Students can choose from a variety of living options: double rooms, eight-person suites with two bathrooms, and double rooms with adjoining bathrooms located in same gender or co-ed residence halls.
