Horsens is a Danish city in east Jutland with 51,670 inhabitants. Horsens lies at the end of Horsens Fjord in eastern Jutland, 50 km south of Aarhus and approximately 200 km to Copenhagen. The city is surrounded with low hills and valleys created by glaciers during the last ice ages. The city is currently undergoing a positive development with new industry moving to Horsens, or expanding their activities already in Horsens. A lot of electronics and graphical companies are based there. Horsens also has Denmark's only Industrial Museum. The city is also home to VIA University College. The charming old market town offers a multitude of activities and cultural events all year round. For example, every year there is the European Medieval Festival and the Children’s Theatre Festival and a wide range of big and small concerts.
